PRESS RELEASE December 9, 2010 Selected film professionals worldwide will be able to view the 2011 IFFR Tiger Awards competition prior to premiere on Festival Scope. Shortly before the start of the 40th IFFR, titles in the IFFR Tiger Awards Competition for First and Second Feature Films, and the IFFR Tiger Awards Competition for Short Films will be available on Festival Scope for sales agents only (upon agreement with rights holders). After their premiere these titles will be viewable to all professionals registered on Festival Scope. A curated selection of the festival’s Bright Future section for first or second feature films will be presented by Festival Scope after the festival. This will be open to all Festival Scope subscribers. Festival Scope will make available the previous work of filmmakers participating in CineMart 2011 after the selection which will be announced by mid-December. . IFFR and CineMart intend to increase the visibility and distribution opportunities of the festival’s selections and projects through an innovative and secure service. The 40th IFFR runs from 26 January till 6 February, the 28th CineMart takes place from 30 January till 2 February.
